I was born and raised in Oshkosh, WI. I attended the Unified Catholic School System all the way through Elementary School and graduating from Lourdes High School in 2006. I attended The University of Wisconsin La Crosse in September of 2006 and graduated with my undergraduate degree with a double major in Finance and Economics in May of 2009. I went back to school in La Crosse for my Masters of Business Administration in September of 2009 and graduated the following August in 2010.

I took the summer off to work on the grounds crew at The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). This was my sixth year working on the grounds crew and an amazing experience in my life. I interviewed for a few jobs but my father asked if I had any interest in selling Medicare Insurance. I then proceeded to get both my health and life insurance licenses and got appointed with multiple companies selling Medicare products.

Over the past 10 years I have worked side by side with my father, Mike Brefczynski, to grow our business and help countless people with their Medicare needs. We have a small family oriented business with a handful of skilled agents including my brother Tyler, Uncle Mike, and two other local agents in the Fox Valley Area.

I am a local, licensed and trained independent insurance agent in Wisconsin. I am certified with top Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug and Medicare Supplement insurance plan carriers. I represent most major companies with a Medicare contract and am qualified to answer any questions you may have.

I am a lifetime resident of the Oshkosh/Pickett Area. My family consists of my wife Brooke, my children Grace and Griffin and our yellow lab Birch. As a family, we spend lots of time at swim meets and hockey and baseball tournaments.  I enjoy any outdoor activities especially golfing, hunting and fishing.

I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management in 2007 from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Over the last 15 years, I have worked at Oshkosh Truck, Generac and Pacon/Dixon Ticonderoga in various supervisory positions in the manufacturing facilities.  Most recently, I worked for 10 years at the Appleton Facility for Dixon Ticonderoga where I spent the last 5 years as Plant Manager.

Approximately seven years ago, I began pursuing my licensing for Medicare Insurance to join in the family business with my dad Mike and brother Jared at Algoma Insurance.  Recently, I ended my career at Dixon Ticonderoga (with my dad’s retirement) to focus solely on my Medicare Insurance career. To me, the most satisfying part of this career is assisting people on a relatively confusing topic that is an important aspect of their retirement years.  I enjoy creating relationships with our clients and take pride in creating the highest level of customer satisfaction.
